Bad Miles Behind

February 10, 2018 Nathan Richardson

A heart learns maybe means no whether you wait or you don't-

Heading out to put some bad miles behind so they're not all ahead.

A diagnosis freezes life that melts into questions, guilt and sorrow ten years on-

Heading out to put some bad miles behind so they're not all ahead.

A hollowed soul sets out earnest for meaning but returns broken-

Heading out to put some bad miles behind so they're not all ahead.
